La PaZIHón con Vientos Tropicales

The wind was so much fun!

We both have spent our lives living on beaches, and this is the best one ever.

Southern California, most of our lives, a normal, typical afternoon had at least 20 MPH winds. That was normal. Something you are accustomed to, no surfing, no paddling, usually no beach walks, with or without dogs. Too windy!

Here? Almost every evening, while sitting on our terrace, very close to the water, same distance as California, we talk about the fact that it's still. Dead still. So still that the 40 foot tall coco nut tree 8 feet from the terrace shows absolutely no movement.

The wind this afternoon was really fun! Our weather station (not in the best location right now due to construction) finally recorded 11 MPH. Here it was straight out of the east, so no sand blowing. The temp shot up during the winds to 88 F. As soon as they stopped, and it was sudden, down to 84.

Now, it's dead still as is normal, we'll love the sweaty or cool night, which ever it is.

Living in paradise!!!!!!

Come visit, return to paradise!!!
