cushions for chair

I had cushions made for an outdoor sofa at my house in Troncones. I thought the price was outrageous but I paid it.

My sisters visited with me and told me I was an idiot. They said the materials and quality of work was top notch and that I got very good value.

That was at least 15 years ago and the cushions still look great. My sisters were correct.

The guy who did the work is named Orlando. His shop is tiny and is on a corner in Zihuatanejo. I can track down contact information if you would like.

A few years ago, I bought a nice t-shirt beside the old Rick's Bar. It had the word "Zihua" in large cursive across the front. After one wash, all the stitching of "Zihua" started falling out. I thought it would be too expensive to repair, but took it to a small shop on Catalina Gonzalez to see if she could re-stitch it. Thirty pesos! And now, maybe 8 or 9 years later, it's still good as new.
Viva México!

(Why don't the t-shirt people get on the ball and start selling shirts that just say "Zihua" instead of "Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo"?)
