Amor En Zih

As of today Zihuatanejo has registered a cumulative total of 1,187 confirmed cases of Covid-19, 84 that resulted in fatalities, 24 that are currently active, and 1,008 that have recovered. We should be expecting a spike in a week or so from the past week’s activities. We'd been doing so well until the bars opened and the Covidiots seemed to come out of the woodwork. Such a shame to see a few irresponsible people ruin things for the rest of us. If it weren't for the irresponsible bars and the irresponsible people entrusted with regulating them, downtown Zihuatanejo would be a much more welcoming and prosperous place where tourists would once again be able to enjoy staying in the quaint family-operated posadas and small hotels.

Today was another picture postcard perfect day. The rainy season is truly the most beautiful time of year with the best weather. The rainclouds over the sierra make for great backdrops for our beautiful bay. The temps never actually got hot today. Mild weather continues along the Costa Grande. There simply is no other place I would rather be, and certainly no other person I would rather share my life with than mi vida, mi santa mujer, mi querida Lupita.

I hope you are making plans to come to our beautiful region and to come back to LIFE with us. Lots of our lodging operators and their workers are working extremely hard to be able to ensure that your visit is a safe and enjoyable one. I list no lodgings that I wouldn't stay in myself or recommend to my family members. These listings are all personal recommendations.
