Canadian Travel

I only can tell my own story :
Today is day 13 of my quarantine.
The day I travelled, I used the ArriveCan app to answer a few questions as it was suggested by the airline. But paper version was available on the plane.
They ask where you will be staying during the 14 days, if you can go directly there from the airport, if you are able to avoid public transportation,... They also ask if there are people at risk living with you and you have to give a phone number to be reachable. Cell phone number first and an optional land phone number.
Upon arrrival, at Montreal airport, the immigration agent who checks passports ask for the filled form or proof you answered through the app (confirmation number).
On day 3 or 4, I had a call from a gouvernement employee. He wanted to confirm my flight number, travel date and where I came from. He asked if I was travelling alone, if I had come home directly from the airport and if I had no problem getting food and health products. He confirmed the date the quarantine will end.
On day 8, I received a recorded call in both languages saying I was still on quarantine for a week and that second week was as important as the first. They said I was contributing to save lifes :-).
That's it for now. I don't know if others have welcomed agents at their door. I don't know if my cell can be monitored. I don't care, i stay home.
