Extra Pesos in my Pocket (while at the Beach)

They are still on the beach, in limited numbers because the beaches are restricted. You can go to the beach, you can sit on the beach, but you can't take your own chairs or umbrellas to the beach. Groups are limited to three, and masks are required to enter the beach. This is what is being enforced on Playa la Ropa.

We do our "morning" things, dogs, swim, paddle, early, so we are home by 9:30 ish. Normally we would spend many afternoons on the beach under our umbrella, watching the world. Now? We are so white skinned that if we were to go out without our umbrella, we would be fried in no time.

The vendors are out there when they can be. Those who do things like rent kayaks, banana rides and para sailing are allowed a chair for each employee and an umbrella. At least they don't have to fry!!!
