We live here.

Our dogs are run/swimmed daily on the beach.

They were taught as babies to respect other living things, particularly injured animals.
They do not eat eggs, or hassle the very late laying turtle who was on our beach this morning.

It is something that has to be actively taught.

What you saw and experienced is a terrible thing. We are sorry that you experienced it.

Education is important, how you handle it is important, and things can be bad.

As a suggestion, when something bad like that happens, THAT YOU CAN'T SAFELY PREVENT, maybe you can find something positive you can do to help.

Take a baby turtle that is going the wrong way to the water, adopt or walk a shelter dog, donate to a favorite cause, send great karma to something that is important to you, donate food or money to a cause or person/people who are in need.

Yes, it is a bad thing, try to not let it change your life in a negative way.

We live in paradise, but sometimes sh-t happens.
