When our kids stayed at The Thompson about a year ago the day pass was $70 US per person plus food and drink. Doesn't include women, but should.

I can not appreciate your comment about placing a price on women. If your message is intended to be a joke, please consider those families who have lost their sisters, mothers, daughters etc., as chattel.

Prostitution in Mexico is legal under Federal Law. Each of the 31 states enacts its own prostitution laws and policies. ... Prostitution involving minors under 18 is illegal. Some Mexican cities have enacted "tolerance zones" ("zonas de tolerancia";) which allow regulated prostitution and function as red light districts.

I'm certain a hotel as prestigious as The Thompson would not employ underage pros.

Regardless of the legality of prostitution in Mexico or any country, your comment was derogative and demeaning. "$70 US should include women."? You've placed a value on real people, treating them like property.

You may be correct in saying The Thompson would not employ underage pros. I've not had the pleasure of visiting the property but, I have witnessed the underage pros at work in Troncones. You would not choose this profession for your daughter or son. The unfortunate people in prostitution place themselves in danger every day to earn a living. You will say it's their choice because it's legal and they're getting paid. You'll say you deserve it because you paid a whole $70USD for their skills. Enjoy.

Consider something. Place yourself into the burka of that person who "should be included in the $70." Then imagine you're the parent of that prostitute.
