Here is more on the effect of sunlight on it:

Looks like in simulated sunlight the virus level is down by 90% in 8 minutes but that's plenty of time for a strong wind to blow airborne particles from one to another, such as in an environment capable of transferring it via the sea-breeze from beachcombers to those relaxing on the beach.
