Tortuga en la tarde on Tuesday

Walking down Playa Palmar Tuesday afternoon I saw a medium size group gathering in front of Playa Ixtapa. As I got closer, I saw a sea turtle heading back to the water. She had just finished laying eggs. The spot was marked with a stick for removal to the hatching pens.Was under the impression that they laid there eggs strictly at night. guess I was wrong. Anyone else ever see something like that in the daylight?
