Testing will make travel safer

I still don't know what happens if I fail a Covid test at the airport. Am I quarantined? If not, am I free to leave?
And for what its worth, my brother who is in a personal care home was throwing up, had a fever and a cough.
After two negative tests he tested positive. He recovered. My opinion is that tests given 72 hours before departure have value but don't guarantee that I am not positive. So Rob, what happens if I fail a Covid test at the airport.

Looks like the airlines won't or can't let you board. What you do then isn't the airlines problem. I suppose you'd have to wait it out until you could test negative, which could be weeks later.....if you're lucky.
