Unfortunately you alleged that an act of corruption was taking place, so they invited you to document and denounce it to the Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente. While we may all suspect there is corruption involved, it isn't the strategy I would follow, especially since there is no obvious proof other than circumstantial. In Mexico "papelito habla". They also invited you to read the new law outlawing the privatizing of beaches and requiring public access, another wonderful Mexican law that looks great on paper, but that I doubt we will ever actually see implemented like so many other wonderful laws we have.

At least you got their attention and yet another record of a complaint over this project is now on the official record. They will have to take notice as the complaints keep rolling in. You did good! ¡Gracias!
:bump:

Interesting. My original draft stated ".....cada vez más politicos corruptos y sus amigos promotores de tierras...." but I thought that might get me a posting on the nosy foreigners list, so I deleted it. Obviously, the word "corrupt" was unnecessary.

I wonder if I'll get a similar response from uenlace@conanp
