In spite of the rainy weather, quite a few tourists showed up this weekend. A family from Monterrey parked in front of our home. That's quite a drive!

It rained slowly most of the night, a nice soaker, then it held off for most of the day until around sunset when we got a nice dousing that sent visitors scurrying to their vehicles and hotel rooms on their way back from the beach. It's a shame the government doesn't warn folks not to swim in the bay or along the coast after the rain as they should do for sanitary reasons.

My wife says I ate too much pizza today. Guilty. From Pizzas Locas. It was delicious.

We seem to have lost quite a bit of beach, not from erosion but from attrition. No more tall palm trees, either. Bummer. The local government is doing a poor caretaking job.
