Once again we seem to have hurricanes and earthquakes in proximity with each other. Let's hope no other natural calamities decide to crash the party. It sure makes you appreciate and cherish life all that much more.

Our absolutely perfect weather is something I never tire of or take for granted. For most of my life I've slept with windows open, enjoying sea level oxygen, fragrant tropical breezes, and rarely needing a blanket. Our daughter and grandson who just returned from a year in Querétaro are having to readjust to our warmth and humidity. While I can truck around our town at full speed and barely break a sweat.

The tourists are loving it, too. While not exactly crowded, there is still a healthy tourism presence albeit not as many of the big spenders/big consumers of our high season. But there are a lot of families enjoying being here together, and that's what Zihuatanejo is all about!
