Aguantar Las EmoZIHones

The outpouring of love my family is receiving from so many of you as well as from our family, friends and the community helps a lot to get through the raw grief that grips our hearts. Words can't describe the pain, and nothing can alleviate it. We just have to live with it and focus on our love for Raulito, ourselves and each other. Thank you.

I think we're all just running on autopilot at the moment.

Zihuatanejo currently has 34 active cases of Covid-19 when a couple of weeks ago we only had 4, and it looks like we're in a full-blown third wave. Hopefully folks will remember to keep practicing sanitary protocols. I predict we'll be back to Semáforo Yellow, and maybe even Naranja, very soon. Bummer for all the businesses just starting to come back.

It's been plenty warm the past couple of days. Move too fast and you sweat. Got to remember to stay hydrated and avoid the midday sun!

Not much beach left for the pangas thanks to the extra couple of meters of beach now covered by cement, and part of the brand new wall at the mouth of the canal by the museum broke up and is in danger of collapsing part of the new plaza, something my wife and I predicted would happen, but of course the city ignored our correct foresight. They did send a small bouquet of flowers for Raulito, though.
