Don’r worry about that. During the summer, I entered Germany and France with my proof of vaccine from Quebec on my Phone. Nobody seemed to doubt its authenticity. Last name on my proof is not even the one written on my Canadian passport : maiden name on one and married name on the other…;-)

Here in British Columbia we've been issued "vaccine passports" that consist of one of those QR code thingies.....which links to an App, apparently. This is fine for those with cellphones, but 25% of adult Canadians apparently don't own a cellphone: we're apparently chopped liver.
Anyway, we asked the provincial government to mail us paper copies of our vaccine passports, which they did. But for some reason, the photocopied QR codes don't seem to scan very reliably. So far, no local restaurant has refused us. Best laid plans, etc. But the possibility of being refused entry into a local restaurant pales in comparison to having some over-officious customs/immigration guy deny us entry into their country.
