Stepping Out

We, and you have had three friends take falls this autumn and winter and break a hip and two legs. That has to end. It's important to know about bone density and all that stuff, but more important to keep track of your life. Find the slippery places, add handrails, add textured tiles, they aren't very expensive to replace, and BE CAREFUL!!! Look for places that could hurt us as we age.

We keep an icepack on both floors that we live on, because it's important!

Don't know about all of you, but as hard as we fight the aging process, we are getting older. Hate that.

Yeah, I'm still not convinced by the 21st century. All those empty promises we got when we were young about vacationing on the moon and flying cars and DNA engineering to live forever. Buncha hooey! We were doing just fine before cellphones and nanotech and chemtrails and Jewish laser beams from space. ;-)

Every single day we have to be careful how and where we step, just like every generation before us. That's why I love even more living here where I know not just my home but pretty much the entire town by heart, having had to adjust to being almost blind for over a year with those damn cataracts as well as having had to walk in sandals hundreds of times around the entire bay at night without a flashlight from Las Gatas to El Almacén (before the road) back before all the light pollution using mostly starlight to see by. There's no place like home, and Zihuatanejo is it for me.
