Tren Azteca

We already have the Mayan Tren...
Is the Aztec train really so far away?
Think about it...Zihuatanejo to Puerto Vallarta in 4 hours, descendants of Quetzacoatl, cruising in style.

A new train system is a tremendous job creator and can be an economic boom for an area. For both the Mayan and Azteca train systems, the question is, will it be used? Is there a demand? If not, it becomes an enormous drain on the government. Would it be used for just tourism?

California is currently working on a high-speed rail and it is costing an outrageous amount of money. Many fear that it simply will never have enough demand to cover even its operating costs, let alone the tens of billions of dollars to build the system.

My apologies for the downbeat assessment, but we must keep our eyes open and have a healthy debate when millions and billions are at stake.

(P.S. I love this forum! ¡Un millón de gracias, Señor Rob!)
