Red Tide in Saladita

Thoughts on all the dead fish / crazy foam / generally smelly ocean in saladita right now?

Someone also said over here that there might have been some spill in Lazaro.

No spill. It's a red tide event. It seems to be in patches. At the moment it isn't affecting Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa's beaches though it was here a couple of weeks ago, but I'd heard it'd been around La Saladita for a while now and the residents had to truck off lots of dead marine animals. Bummer.
