Hand carved/painted tables- search hit paydirt BIGTIME!

We went to Juanajo looking for a dining table and chairs (not carved and painted) a few years ago. Most workshops were closed - supposedly because the workers were up North working in the fields - but one had exactly what we were looking for. We told the owner that we'd like to buy the set and asked if he could arrange for transportation to Zihua. The answer was "NO". Business must be good in Juanajo. We finally found what we needed in Zihua. We did enjoy our visit to Patzcuaro and Morelia, though.
