Loving Zihuatanejo!

Even with all its warts, I still find myself immensely grateful and satisfied to be here, to be a part of Zihuatanejo, to be a part of its culture, community and environment, even to have my friends and neighbors. I cherish every moment of every day here, whether out and about or just hanging around the home. The sights, the smells, the sounds, the tastes, the people, the warmth, and the snail's pace of the passing time. The easy-going and relaxed soul of Mexico fits me like a glove, and I have never felt more at home anywhere else.
