A couple of beauties from today...

Maybe not what you thought from the title, but here are two stunners of many seen today on a birding tour...

Squirrel Cuckoo, always a favorite

Something totally new to me, Hook Billed Kite

Also seen, Lilac Crown Amazon Parrots, Orange Fronted Parakeets, Painted Buntings, Varied Buntings, Orange-breasted Buntings, Summer Tanager. Lineated Woodpecker, Gold Cheek Woodpecker, Streak backed Orioles, Magpie Jays, Groove Billed Anis, Blue Grossbeak, Stripe headed Sparrows, Crested Caracara, Scrub Euphonia, Social Flycatcher, Greater Kiskadee, Tropical Kingbird, Northern Beardless Tyrannulet, Ash Throated Flycatcher, Northern Jacana, Blue Grey Gnat Catcher, Banded Wren, Rufus-backed Thrush, Hermit Thrush, Yellow-winged Cacique, Great-tailed Grackle, Citreoline Trogan, Ruddy Ground dove, Common Ground Dove, White Wing Dove, White Tipped Dove.......Heard West Mexican Chachalacas....A few unidentified female Hummingbirds.

I think there were a few more but don't remember them. Not bad though.;-)
