call Raymundo,755 127 3253 he has built several at my house over the last 3 yrs out of primed metal supports and san Miguel panels. I have had no complaints and he always shows up as promised. His shop is near Commercial, but he prefers to come to the jobsite and will a written quote.

San Miguel panels are a synthetic replica of the clay tiles that come in sections approx. 1 meter by 1 meter, easily cut to shape and held down on metal support beneath with metal "U" clips and fastner. They are sold in most ferreterias, soltel, materialas ixtapa etc. Rapid installation and more likely durable in the event of an earthquake. I mounted my awnings that face the bay with a second metal support on top to hopefully hold it down in the event of hurricane winds.
