Last I heard it was still on Morelos, going towards La Noria, a block or two past Cinco de Mayo, on the right side of the street. It was not clearly marked, as DIF, but if you ask along the way, locals will point for you. There are other DIF locations, but they did not do the INAPAM cards.

HI Linda, we are here for 6 months so I am curious at what age in Mexico you are considered a senior and o you require documentation other then the tourist visa?

Over 60, permanent or temporary resident status, and proof that you live here, for example, a water bill and electric bill.

I don't think you can get an INAPAM card with a tourist visa. Only TR or PR if you are not a Mexican citizen.

What types of merchandise are discounted for seniors?

discounts for INAPAM holders: property taxes, water bill, domestic flights on aeromexico, several restaurants and shops which are not located in Zihua....those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. When we got ours we were given a little pamphlet that listed a lot of places that aren't in Zihua.
And to ixiron: you have to have temporary resident or permanent resident status, and those utility company receipts as were mentioned above. You cannot get this card with a tourist visa. And passport- also necessary and proves your over 60 years age.

Half price water bill, half price property taxes, discount on bus tickets (not local buses) someone once mentioned haircuts somewhere. Those are the biggies that we've hear about.
