Duolingo

My missus turned me onto a pretty good little phone app that endeavors to help you learn a language... in my case Spanish. It's named Duolingo and is free. Kinda makes learning fun, as in a game of sorts. Easy to do your daily lessons. In fact, I've been using it for a week and have done multiple lessons on each of those days.

I have no affiliation to the app, other than using it.

YMMV

I think it is a good site. I frequently "tune up" with Duolingo on my computer. It's fun.

I use it on my laptop and didn't know they had an app until earlier today when I came across it in the "favorites' section of the app store. I'll have to check it out.

Lightspeed Spanish

Lightspeed Spanish isn't an app but online they offer many free podcasts from beginner (?) to advanced Intermediate Spanish. They are a married couple. Gordon is from the UK, but lived in Mexico for awhile and studied Spanish. Cynthia is from Spain and they live near Madrid now. Betwixt the two, they are delightful. I am studying their book, Demystifying the Spanish Subjunctive, and have learned a lot. They have begun to offer small-sized Spanish immersion classes as well. Duolingo is fun too!!!

Thanks for recommending the Duolingo app. Sort of. I am now already obsessed and wasting time at work!

Query, Is time wasted at work really wasted?
