It's been many, many years since we've had so many rainy days in June. It's not only replenished our severely depleted water supplies so that most folks are now receiving city water regularly, but it's given the the hillsides and the vegetation a lushness that it usually doesn't acquire until late August. Lots of work for gardeners and farmers as well as folks with lots of vegetation in their yards.

Last evening on the downtown beach families everywhere were enjoying themselves.

Fantastic skies. Oh I wish.......

My preferred flight dates have dropped by $70 this morning,
I wonder how long I should wait before pushing the buy button?
Doesn't really matter, I will come whatever the price!!!!

Thanks again for all your delightful pictures, often the highlight of my day!

I wouldn't wait.

I already clicked the Buy Button for our next March trip because it dropped a couple of weeks back.

Since we returned home just before Semana Santa , we've had so many rainy days . Think its something like 20 days in June so far with rain forecast for the next 3 days.. April and May was the same . Feel bad for the farmers in the area as most of them have not been able to seed their fields .

Decided to come to ZIH for a break but with your comment and our weather , we are contemplating maybe building an Ark as opposed to flying.,

Ha! It hasn't rained hard very much, maybe only once or twice. Most of the time we get a nice light early morning soaking rain that cools the temps and washes away the previous day's dust (and keeps me from having to worry about watering our plants). The waterfall in Ixtapa still hasn't started flowing, and that's the region's best rain gauge.
