Cos I'm old and can't remember for sure, yet if memory does serve, September can be rainy but most of the big city Mexican tourists will be gone, si?

We were told just yesterday that most kids will re-start school Aug 24th. But in reality After Aug 5th it will get slower and slower. Also I think there is less people in Ixtapa this year than last...for the same week.

Certainly the case in the Bajío region these past so many years. Goodness knows we need the water in this high desert plateau of plus 2000 meters in altitude.....

I can't predict the weather, but usually it's fairly rainy throughout the month as the tropical storms pass by. September is the peak of our Eastern Pacific Hurricane Season. And the humidity is almost always high here from June until December. Good for the skin! Historical weather data is available via the Weather Underground link on my Weather page.

Here are a few typical September days from previous years.

Yup!!
Weather is like that!

Ya know what it's gonna be, when it gets there!!

Some years we have little snow up here.

Some years the forecast is Clear and Still.
Clear up to your ass, and Still coming down.

Think we're postponing now, but good point, thanks for the reminder...

The first time we came down the middle of September, it rained hard 10 out of 14 days. Some days you did not want to go out of your unit to eat. On Tue. before we were flying home on Sat., Kathie wanted to fly home early. I told her we should have a couple of good days before we left and she would wish she was back in Mexico. Her first day back, I went to her office in our coach house and saw her crying. She was a Avon Manager and by being gone for 2 weeks her work had piled up and was over whelming. She said even if it was raining she wished we were back in Mexico sitting on the balcony. We would take a 5 liter box of wine on our trips and if it rained, we just sat out on our balcony sipping wine and letting the world go buy enjoying the moment. You can never judge from one year to the next.
