ROKU troubles

Is anyone successfully using a ROKU stick here in Zihua? Mine is all hooked up, connected to my wifi access, etc. I can access programs but when I start to watch, the screen is blocked by a message that says "not authorized" or words to that effect. But I can still hear the audio. I seem to recall reading something about this but don't remember if it was on this forum or elsewhere.

Click the above.

You may still get your stick to work by subscribing to a VPN

Tried to give you a link but it was disallowed (vpn free dom dot com was a no no)

Thanks for the info. I do recall reading that somewhere. Maybe a vpn is the way to go . . . I hate to just give up!

It sounds like you're trying to view channels that you subscribe to in the States. You can't get them here without either hooking up a VPN to your modem (no minor feat for non-nerds) or the services of a pro. Personally I go with a pro named Javier whose contact info can be found on my Professional Services page under Comm. & Tech. ;-)
