Mañana Mojada en Zih

A brief morning shower greeted us at dawn just as we were ready to take our morning stroll and while local schoolchildren were getting ready to walk to school. It only lasted a few minutes, but it sent us scrambling for our hanging laundry and sent lots of schoolkids looking for their umbrellas. The too brief rain didn't really cool anything down, and it only seemed to raise the humidity a few notches, but that's life in the tropics.

It is something refreshing walking the streets and along the bay after a light rain in "Z". Boy it has been a long time. Can't wait till January when we land and the heat hits our faces as we descend from our plane. The pictures just makes us miss it more.

ZERO people on Playa Palmar! I'm at my condo on the beach for a week of recover and the weather is grey, windy & delicious.

Not even hot ......at all. Temporada de las lluvias suits me fine. Everybody should experience this time of year here.
