Coffee and Zih

Someone recently told me, and I have no idea if it's true and I don't care, that coffee damages the immune system over time, to which I relied that things like coffee in the morning are one of the pleasures I refuse to do without even if it shortens my life span. Especially after being spoiled for so many years by my saint of a wife who brings me my large mug of locally grown coffee without fail every morning long before the sun is up. And this morning was no exception. MmmmMM MM Mmmmmm!

Fishermen putting their catch on display. It didn't take long before it was all bought up.

This is what it's ALL about!

This article from Time suggests that coffee is good for you:

Coffee may even help you live longer. A recent study involving more than 208,000 men and women found that people who drank coffee regularly were less likely to die prematurely than those who didn’t drink coffee. Researchers believe that some of the chemicals in coffee may help reduce inflammation, which has been found to play a role in a number of aging-related health problems, including dementia and Alzheimer’s. Some evidence also suggests that coffee may slow down some of the metabolic processes that drive aging.

I choose to believe it. Can't do without that morning cup or two. Here is the link:
