I believe you meant to say that we return to our Hora Oficial after spending the past 7 months on Horario de Verano.

We didn't save as much money or energy as we used to. I think we should ditch it.

I don't think it makes a big difference down here as it does up in Canada!

Hello Canada1

Excerpt from your post:

"I don't think it makes a big difference down here as it does up in Canada!"

According to the link Rob posted, for each user, as the calculation shows, it only around $32 pesos.
Though multiplying that by the millions of CFE users the figure is more impressive--->

The bottom line, I.M.O., is it's practical functionality in one's daily life, versus the financial aspect.
If one likes that it stays light until 8 - 9 p.m., it's great.
If you like it to get dark around 6 p.m., then, no, not so good.

It needs to end in the US, too.

But since we will leave the US before it happens, and not be there for it again, it's just a suggestion.

It sucks!

Here I sit on a quiet Morning, wondering why it is so damned dark!

perhaps waking up in your bed instead of the beach will brighten your mornings?
