Slowly but surely the tourist season is warming up and getting underway. It's good to see shops and restaurants opening back up for our northern visitors, and it's especially good to see so many northern visitors out and about on our beaches and streets. Each morning this week we've seen folks going out for fishing charters, and each evening we've seen more restaurants doing more business. ¡Bienvenidos todos!

Apparently the municipal government is attracting a new kind of tourist. This has become the new lodging for indigentes and borrachos on our downtown beach. Since the rains have ended some old familiar smells are returning. Our tax pesos at work!

Fresh bolillos, pan dulce and café de la olla are available at the municipal pier each morning where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery while the sun paints new light in the sky.
