Catching Some Zih

The municipal pier was quite a busy place this morning with fishing charters lining up the docks and some excited visitors from up north anxious to get out on the water. It looked almost like a tournament was underway, and one of the captain's assistants explained that it was a group of people who came to fish together. It was great to see them, but it was even better to see so many charter captains doing a brisk business. Good for them!

I love this. A ficus swallows a phone booth. I hope it is allowed to continue growing and to engulf the phone booth completely. That would be cool!

WOW - nice to see all the charter boats lined up again! Love seeing the fish market and the swallowed-whole phone booth! We have guests arriving today for a week - first time in Zihuatanejo - this looks like a great start! As always, thanks for the beautiful photos!
