Hola
Any one having mosquito problems? Lots of them here. Little suckers. We try to keep standing water issues at a minimum. I keep a small container with about an inch of water in it on the sink in the bathroom to brush my teeth. Today my wife was cleaning and when she picked up the cup, there were mosquito larvae swimming in it. Smart little suckers.

Where you located? I lived in La Noria last year and they were fogging there so no problem. Have lived on Plaha Blanca last 9 months with only minimal problems at dawn and dusk.

Does anyone have a lawn or other vegetation nearby? Mosquitos will travel up to 400 yards from their breeding ground.

If you are a short term visitor then OFF, suggest green can, at Commercial Mexicana. It is 25 percent DEET but for a short visit it works well.

ThermaCell and Dynatrap for long term control. No sprinklers!

Hola
We live in the "jewel" district just off of plaza Kyoto. All the streets are named after various gems. There are no obvious standing water sources near. Our yard is cement with no plant growth nearby. Our cistern is pretty secure. Don't know were the bugs are coming from. We are here for 6 months so I hope this infest will pass.

A Dyatrap might be a good option. You may have a challenge in ordering and having it shipped by air. It works by trapping female mosquitos and over time, six weeks is often quoted, there are no more breeders within range. My so uses a couple of them in his rater large mid West lawn which has a lot of mosquitos due to sprinklers on lawns. I was there in Sep and he had a neighborhood part and the neighbors were amazed at the lack of mosquitoes.

There must be a breeding ground nearby as I think your neighborhood is fogged.

Plaza Kyoto is near the canal. I was at the church by there on Tuesday and even after spritzing myself with some good strong repellent I was getting bitten by something unseen.

Up that far the canal is all fresh water. Perfect breeding ground for mosquitos.
