So I know this question is absolutely impossible to answer. What are our chances of seeing whales?
We will be arriving tomorrow for 8 nights. I have read that the whales have arrived earlier than usual this year. We have done the Picante sunset cruise in the past and were not planning on doing it again....until my wife heard that the whales have arrived early. What are the chances of seeing a whale breach? We live on an Island so I know how I would answer this question, but I can say that in the winter you will 99% of the time see a Seal on a certain rock and in the summer I could find a school of bluefish jumping 100% of the time.
Who knows, maybe the answer will be "yes" they see whales all of the time! Just wondering what the chances are.

We have been on the Picante several times from Jan-Mar. We did see a whale breaching in the distance , south of Zihua Bay as we headed out towards Ixtapa. Have seen a few out from the beach a ways from the condo, but so far away, you really don't see much. Same as from Las Brisas happy hour lobby.
