No damages to report from the two overnight earthquakes. A 4.1 at 12:35 a.m. and a 4.3 at 5:38 a.m. I only felt the one at 5:38.

We also only felt the 5:30 a.m. shaker - it wasn't much.

The fact that recently there have been numerous temblores in the immediate region is cause for concern. They could be precursors. Folks need to remain vigilant and prepared.

Perfect answer, never take the shaking for granted. Remember the Good Fiday rattle, lots of roof tiles were moved. I'm with you, be vigilant and prepared.

How would you suggest visitors prepare themselves? Particularly those staying in independent lodgings. Extra water, muster points or what? Thanks.

Simply by thinking about what you should do if a big earthquake hits. Where are you going to go, or are you just going to stay out? What items should you have handy in case you need to leave in a hurry? I’m sure there are emergency preparedness websites you can consult in case you need pointers. Maybe someone can post a link. It’s instinctive for some folks.
