This is our dear longtime friend Francisco "Pancho" Mendoza, one of the best singers in the region if not the entire state. He regaled us with an unforgettable serenade for our family's Cena de Nochebuena at Porto di Mare. He plays multiple instruments including the harp that he used to haul up and down the beaches when he played in a trio. For the past 25 years or so he has been part of our prestigious and talented Mariachi "Los Torcazos".

The scene this morning in our beautiful bay.

I don't know about you all, but I never tire of this idyllic scene on the beach in front of our home.

This is as far south as the sun gets on our horizon. Now that winter solstice has passed it begins its journey back north where it will bring renewed warmth to the northern latitudes.

No Rob, we never tire of it either. Thanks so much for all the pictures posted all year long. We don't tire of those either. Everyone is different. They keep us all dreaming of the next trip. See you right there in January!
