The email that Fran gave you is correct. I'm not sure what you're looking for but here's a toll-free number from the US:
1-800-877-287-2411

Ask for Javier or Miguel who will happily answer your questions. Both speak perfect English.

Hope this helps.

Happy to report that even though I was very late in firming up our plans for this year, we'll be returning to Catalina Beach Resort during our desired dates, which will include several of the Guitar Festival days.

All of the travel sites sent back "no rooms available" on their sites for a wide range of dates.

So I called Javier at the hotel 877 287 2411, and he was able to fix us up with exactly what we wanted.

¡¡¡YAAAY!!!
Here we come!

Interesting. Anyone checking most of the major booking sites for anything in Z between, say, 1 Feb and 30 March gets the same message: "nothing available." Why that should be so is a mystery. Could it be that people like Expedia, (for example), have access to only a set number of rooms at any particular hotel, and once those few rooms are gone, the booking site puts up the "no vacancy" sign? If so, I wonder if the hotels are aware that prospective customers are being turned away?

Indeed. I do know that Apple Vacations is allotted a certain number of rooms, as I was so informed a few years back by the reservations folks at Hotel Irma.
I will remind Javier at Catalina about this when we check in.

We don't often use the major on-line booking sites, but this information is news to us. Instead of giving the false impression that there are no rooms available at a particular hotel, websites should be required to report that their allotment of rooms have been booked. Or maybe everyone but us realizes that.

Reminds me of the situation when we suspend our bundled cable TV/Internet/telephone services for long vacations. Anyone telephoning us gets a recorded message: "This number is out of service." Callers don't know if we've moved, died, been jailed, or haven't paid our bills. The service provider can't explain why, if they can provide that recorded message, they couldn't have one that says: "This number is temporarily out of service."
One time, my pension office called while we were in Zihua. The "out of service" message prompted them to send me an e-mail noting that since our number was out of service, my pension cheques would be suspended if they didn't hear from me within 10 days!
