A local representative of the Comisión México Iberoamericano de Derechos Humanos, A.C. was shot down in cold blood on the street. He was apparently a human rights activist.

That is worse than the dope on a rope accident in Ixtapa yesterday where the guy put his femur through the skin.......... Condolences to the family........

I don't know. He was alive when the ambulance took him away. From the description it sounded like bleeding from veins rather than arterial. But a protruding femur fracture can be life threatening, especially if a high fracture.

Turns out he was also a politician from Petatlán as well as a lawyer. He had lots of friends here who are quite saddened by his death as well as outraged like the rest of us over this stupid, senseless and cowardly violence.
