Anyone know if Mi Chayito, our favourite Zihua place for Chinese food, has opened in a new location?

The silence is deafening. I guess the late, lamented Mi Chayito is unlamented, except by us.

(Here's where some wiseacre asks: Who wants Chinese food in Zihua?)

IF you make it down, we'll read the name over our new favorite Chinese place and get it to you.

Too funny! We have a favorite oriental food place we frequently get take-out from here in town, but neither Lupita nor I can remember the name. I'm afraid to recommend it because then we may never be able to get service again during the tourist season. ;-)

There are half a dozen of those take-out spots in town, but they're all pretty utilitarian when it comes to a proper sitdown meal. That's what made Mi Chayito a step up....that and some pretty good Mexican dishes as well.

Living in Vancouver makes it very difficult to try Chinese food elsewhere. Just not worth the effort to be disappointed. We do, however, lack good Mexican fare, thus our overindulgence for that cuisine in Zihua.
