From Hey to Zih

My saint of a wife continues receiving lots of folks like this street sweeper whom she does her best to match up with the right glasses to help them be able to see better, mostly for reading. She asks that folks please try to bring what you all know as "cheaters", graduated glasses that should have a number on them denoting the grade of magnification. Of course all used glasses are welcome, but she's starting to end up with some glasses that are broken and others that are odd prescriptions that are difficult to match up with people who need them.

These fishing pangas and water taxis represent part of the essence of Zihuatanejo. Here's the Borracho all ready for a day's work.

The fishing pangas first pull up the beach and unload their catch, then they back away from the beach a ways to get up a good deal of speed for beaching themselves as high on the beach as they can get so they don't have to push the boat so far. Every now and then one misses the mark and they bang into an already beached panga.

We have 9 pair of new reading glasses to drop off. When is the "best" time to drop off donations? We don't want to disturb your family time.
