Rain in Zih

After watching lightning dance on the horizon during our evening stroll to the pier, we were delighted by the cool refreshing rain that finally arrived about 3:30 in the morning. Instantly the temps seemed to drop 10°C and I even had to pull the bedsheet over me. It was so nice and refreshing with nature's beautiful light show all around that I almost decided to go for a stroll on the beach. Almost.

It was the first decent rain we've had in about a month or longer. We haven't had much of a rainy season so far. It was nice to find that it was still sprinkling lightly when we went for our morning walk. Perfect!

Here's a thankful little girl with her bag of school supplies donated by some of my amazing readers. Thank you so much!

I couldn't resist this. I saw it through the window when I woke up, so I rushed out to the beach, arriving just as it was starting to fade. What a way to start the day!

Even our old pier seemed refreshed by the overnight rain.
