Incredibly Zih

As city services return to parts of town that haven't seen them for weeks if not months, folks are almost incredulous that the new city administration has apparently hit the ground running. Now if they could only get the drunks and bums to stop sleeping on the pier, the gazebo and the beach and to stop stealing turtle eggs it would be a major improvement to the downtown waterfront area including the zócalo where hundreds of locals and visitors pass by daily.

We were treated to an all-night-long light show as storm clouds rolled past just out to sea without leaving hardly a drop of rain in Zihuatanejo.

The fishermen seemed unphased and apparently hauled in a healthy catch in spite of the passing storms that must have been practically on top of them.

It stayed cloudy most of the morning with only intermittent sunshine. Storms rolling along the coast again appear poised to miss us. ¡Estamos sala'os!
