Day of the dead Vendors

by hromero ⌂ @, Thursday, November 01, 2018, 17:48 (12 days ago)

Day of the dead may not be as strongly observed here as in other parts of Mexico but there is still plenty of preparation for it. We walked through the market today to do our usual shopping and also strolled through the temporary vendors set up on some closed streets. Here are some pictures from the market today.

We still have rooms available between U.S. Thanksgiving and December 20th. If you type Thanksgiving2018! into the coupon code on our website then you get an additional 20% off of our advertised rates at www.casaarcoiriszihuatanejo.com.

3 street blocks were blocked off with additional vendors.

Mazapan, Jesus satisfied his sweet tooth with these but they are too sweet for me.

I think you mean to say Dia de Muertos has not been made as much of a tourist attraction here as opposed to a family religious holiday for which I am grateful, though it is starting.
