We have been down several times. Stay st Embarc on la Ropa. . This time with friends who want to fish. I would typically go with the guy on the beach but not sure if he is any good. Looking to have a great day looking for dorado. Any suggestions. Thank you all.

I would NOT go with someone off the beach ever! When are you fishing? Certain species are not around during certain times of the year. Like Dorado, they are best to catch now to mid-January. Then these fish will be scant until next summer.
Also as a side note Zih is not the best place for Dorado as a whole. The best of the captains I use would be Capt. Carlos on Michelle, contact the boat owner Luis at: jluisbaby@hotmail.com. Luis speaks great English.

If you are talking about Moses, he is an honest man and a friend of mine. I have been out on his boat several times.

I haven’t seen Moses there the last couple time. I forget the name of the gentleman that has purchased the Embarc spot for the last couple years.

We were talking to him this morning. We think he's Jose Luis. There is also Victor in front of Villa Mexicana. Both are well established, respected and have been around for years.

We spoke to Moses in February and he said he had been away for a while. Haven't seen him since. His son is a veterinarian in town.
