I take back what I said several days ago about the water service (you were right, Jauie). We've been out of water for two days even though we've been very conservative with its use. Local temps have been in the lower to mid 30's most days so that frequent quick showers help us cope. Fortunately we also try to catch and use some rainwater for watering plants, but the tinacos and baldes are empty and we're down to our last tambo. We've been promised water will flow to el Centro sometime today. ¡Ojalá!

If you think this is hot wait until La Canícula next month. :brilliant: B-)

Did anyone see my video of yesterday's spectacular light show at sunset? While we don't have a view to the ocean horizon of the sun setting from our home, we nevertheless were treated to a fabulous light show that I posted on my Facebook page. I don't believe you have to log in or anything to see it, just go here: Zihuatanejo Sunset Video.

I was going to post a photo of Lupita watching as the last tiny bit of the old pier was removed, but I got sidetracked by these lovely shots of our "front yard", so that one will have to wait.

The hills are completely green, the bay water is still clear and blue, and Zihuatanejo is still just as magical as ever!

This was last evening at the Playa Principal just as the sunset colors were warming up.
