Just in case those of you that fly Westjet haven’t heard, they are suspending all international flights as of March 22 for no less than 30days.

we just spoke with a Westjet agent. The outward bound flights from Mexico that are already booked are still going ahead. They are not taking bookings to fly out of Canada after midnight Sunday.

Perhaps, but would anyone want to risk waiting? Flight crews are going to get sick too.
And another problem: medical insurance

So true about the insurance.
If you left Canada after March 13 they are saying you left when Covid 19 was a known risk and will not cover emergency care if you become infected.
My company did not know I did not leave on the 16th as planned and they messaged me last night.

The only problem is if they are not flights heading to Mexico there are not any coming back.
Read the statement on the WestJet website.

That is not what it says on their site.

Incorrect. All international and trans-border WestJet flights scheduled to leave after midnight on 22 March are cancelled. That means any scheduled flights leaving Mexico after that date and time. WestJet may set up other flights that may correspond to departure dates and times previously scheduled, or they'll work with airline partners - presumably airlines that already fly Canada-Mexico, like Air Canada, AeroMexico, Sunwing, etc....on "rescue and repatriation" flights to bring stranded Canadians home....at least that's the way I read it. We fly AC to Vancouver 21 March.
