ALL flights on United to any US destination from Ixtapa have been cancelled as of April 1st. Most of us have seen the light and are bailing out of here. [me on the 28th].

Just me personally, I think you will see a HUGE increase in the Mexico numbers after Easter.

I think you should reconsider for your personal safety.

Check again. United’s flight to Houston next Sunday, the 29th has been cancelled. They do not send emails to notify you. It’s up to you to keep checking... Nice.

I have made no claims as to March. I am only referring to the schedule that United has published for April [it is on their website]

I sure hope you arnt screaming to be repatriated in a few weeks.

Thousand of Americans and Canadians ignored the warnings, now they are crying that the govt is not sending an emergency team to extract them.

There's a damn good reason there are no caravans of people trying to leave the first world countries even though the infection rates are so high.

Many of these third world countries are looking like the fall of Saigon, you should probably implement some caution and use some common sense. The pictures coming out of the airports in PVR and SDC look downright scary, thousands of people packed like sardines trying to escape.

In my humble opinion, youre heading in the wrong direction.

Whatever you choose to do, good luck to you and your family.
Regards,

PERHAPS I DIDN''T STATE IT CORRECTLY

People. I was kidding. My thought, since it's the second leg of a trip, they would have canceled both. Everyone stay safe. I will miss each of you, but, will get there as soon as it's safe. Sorry I won't be able to bring eyeglasses, but, will double up next time.

Canada Pete, Good advise and you prediction of panic will come true. We thought of staying and waiting it out and then the day before our flight, 18th March, wiser thoughts won over what I wanted and wished for. We got on to the airport and all was normal. Red Cross was just setting up their table with sanitizer and ??? Not sure what else they did as with in an hour we were boarding the plane. Everything was normal. Alaska crew said they sanitized the plane, confirmed the SEP air filter system was functioning properly and off to LA on time. In LA, everything was normal. Customs, Immigration, lines, restaurants open. All normal except the absence of LA traffic at 6pm was non existent. Our connection flight was normal as well. We did not want to leave but it was the right thing to do.

AeroMexico

We were scheduled to arrive in Zih today through Aeromexico. They cancelled and rescheduled one of our return flights which did not work out for us.Asked for a refund which they refused, instead offering an extension to Oct.31 2020,no penalty, but we would have to pay any fare difference. This does not work for us either. After many many hours on hold, emails, and finally messenger they agreed to a one year extension with same conditions.Pretty sad they are making things difficult in times like this...Shameful when comparing to other airline relaxed policies.:nono:

I recommend you mention PROFECO in your next communication with AeroMéxico.

Apparently people are not checking the airline sites or read papers. All international flights from the United States have been canceled from this weekend through May 4. I was scheduled to go to Guatemala on May 2 it now has been moved to May 4.

I can book a flight on Alaska Airlines on most days in April from Los Angeles to Zihuatanejo.
I think that's considered an International flight.
So maybe you need to reconsider your statement?

Has there even been an ounce of good news pertaining to this crisis? If so I haven't heard. My point is traveling foreign for tourism in April doesn't seem like a viable path to plan on.
