Reporting covid cases

Just wanting to be prepared.
The April 3rd US Embassy Health Alert instructed all persons in Mexico to notify a health official in the event that we start experiencing respiratory difficulties (onset of covid).
Does anyone have contact info for our local health official?
Best

interesting that the official recommended social distancing is 1 meter rather than closer to 6 feet ?

That is an error on the part of whoever made the graphic for the local government. The SSA recommends maintaining a minimum distance of a meter and a half per person as “su sana distancia.” Three meters combined.
But while in Mexico I also recommend heeding the advice of our SSA, not the USA where things haven’t exactly gone well and it appears their president is seeking to profit personally from the pandemia as have several members of their Congress.

We'll go with 6'. A cough or sneeze at 1 meter or approximately 38" is much too close for me.

My mistake a meter is a little over 39". I'll still go with 6' - 72".

The model for “sana distancia” means that if two people respect the recommended distance they will be 3 meters apart from each other. If someone sneezes or coughs hard you should of course move farther away.

Thanks I never would have guessed that to be the guideline.
Good idea - the more distance th e better.
