Lots of hand sanitizer will be offered to you as you enter many places, including hotels, restaurants, taxis and many larger stores. Take advantage of it and accept it.

I don't recommend going to most bars, but the restaurants recommended here on my website and a few others I keep forgetting to list should be fine. Many are delivering to any reduce risk. An excellent service if you are staying within delivery range of any of your favorite restaurants.

So what happens if you have symptoms of covid while in Z, are tests available for visitors through a clinic? Then to be able to return back to u.s. you would have to test negative of course, but no other requirements?

If you show symptoms you call a doctor or the Cruz Roja. You will be tested and quarantined. If you require hospitalization you will be admitted to the Covid-19 section of the Hospital General.

hopefully they are not using ventilators anymore!!! the ventilators are actually making it worse. hospitals in the states have starting using c-pap machines, when needed.

Everyone who needed a ventilator in Zihuatanejo was able to be placed on one. There was never a shortage here or no room or supplies for Covid-19 patients. They lacked for nothing.
