As was predicted, all the Trump supporters have magically vaporized into thin air! What a surprise? Not. If they were actually serious about standing up for and supporting this buffoon, don't you think that they would still be doing that? It's just like someone talking to a pollster about who they support and lying, because they don't want anyone to know!

I wouldn't crow too loudly, Paul. SEVENTY MILLION Americans voted for Trump....that's a seven, followed by seven zeros.....and even though 75 million voted for Biden, they (for some crazy reason) voted to re-elect the same bent Republican Senators and, unbelievably, to reduce the number of Democrats in the House. If McConnell behaves as he has in the past, look for extreme government constipation and a Senate refusal to even consider new justices on the Supreme Court.

If that's the case, you can expect a whole bunch of "executive Orders" from the White House. That way McConnell will have to go court and they will throw it out! It's unconstitutional!

California where I live is full of Democrats, no clue how to attract business. So many are leaving the state. Guess Trump was doing the same for D.C. only getting 5% of the vote. Obviously I’m a republican but Trump went too far, all this really started as a publicity stunt. He did keep the economy strong but at a price U.S. citizens were not willing to pay. He couldn’t win even after giving thousands of dollars to the poor and middle class. Will everything now become Biden’s fault or are you guys still going to blame Trump? The coronavirus wasn’t really his fault. We all know how to wear a mask and stay away from large gatherings but we still choose not too. Yes other countries have done better but it’s the American public that knows better who is spreading it here. I take responsibility for what happens in my life, I don’t point the finger at someone else and blame them for what goes wrong. Who is president has little to no impact on my life, I would be in the same situation if Hiltlery won last time. Let’s keep America great!:stirpot:

Craig, I agree with everything except the economy thing. I'm not convinced that Trump was responsible for that. It was in really good shape when he was elected and seemed to be impervious to his actions. It was even impervious to the virus and the subsequent downturn! Lets wait to see what happens when NYSE opens tomorrow!

Maybe the vaccine news had something to do with it. Hopefully it works out.

From your mouth to God's ears! 90% effective would change the course of this pandemic within weeks. This assumes, of course, that we all listen to the experts and go get the vaccine. I pray that is not too much to ask of us.

It wouldn't be weeks. This particular vaccine requires two doses a month a part. The second dose would require a few weeks to be protective, so give it a couple of months. And then of course there is the challenge of immunizing folks and having enough doses to do so. So while this is a huge positive, it will still be at least spring 2021.

I trade the premarket on occasion, and happened to be logged in very early this AM. The market looked to open about 400 pts higher following the Biden election call, and then the Pfizer vaccine news hit. So the latter appeared to account for the bulk of the early spike. FWIW.

OK Cruise Guy, tell us how there is no correlation here and that Trump isn't reallly responsible.

Nov 6, 2020 - Axios Health
Of the 376 counties with the highest number of new coronavirus cases per capita, 93% voted for President Trump, AP reports.
